Chickenscratch
Chickenscratch is an anthology produced by Trent University’s English department. Undergraduate and graduate students from the Peterborough and Durham campus submit their creative writing and are selected by a team of student editors.
The collection is edited entirely by students admitted on an application basis— a necessary feat considering the publishing process is shortened from years into months.
The course offers select students a look at all of the production steps of literary publishing; including content, structural, and copy editing, proofreading, marketing, printing, and sales.
